The National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) is a national survey of women and men 15-49 years of age designed to provide national estimates of factors affecting pregnancy and birth rates, including sexual activity, cohabitation, marriage, divorce, contraceptive use, miscarriage and stillbirth, infertility, and use of medical services for family planning and infertility.

Required Qualifications:
• Attendance at the in-person training to be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, August 24 – September 1
• Ability to work 20 hours per week including evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and weekdays
• Ability to use a tablet PC to conduct electronic listing, screening, and interviewing activities
• Availability to perform face-to-face interviews in a variety of households and neighborhoods, and be comfortable with all types of situations that may be encountered when screening and interviewing in a cross-section of households
• Ability to perform administrative tasks including record keeping, daily transmissions by computer, daily submission of time and expense data, reconciling travel advances, and attending all required calls/meetings
• Travel up to 60 miles one way, when applicable, when working in the field. The number of miles will depend on the location of the sample.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Spanish language skills
• Ability to travel overnight as needed (4-6 nights)
