How do I locate open positions?
From the Field Positions or Phone Positions page, click on Job Opportunities. Click on the name of a project (if listed) to review the job description, requirements, and training information.

How do I apply for a position?
You must have an account to apply. After you create an account, click the Login button. Locate an open position you wish to apply for, and then select Begin Screening at the bottom of the Job Detail page. You will be asked a series of questions during the application process, which may take up to 45 minutes to complete.

I have applied for a position, what happens next?
Please note, it may take several weeks for us to contact you depending on the project you have applied for, and on the volume of applicants. It is not unusual for us to review hundreds (for smaller projects) and thousands (for larger projects) of applicants applying. Most communications are sent to the email you provided when setting up your account.

Do I need to create an account each time I apply for a project?
No, once you create an account, you can continue to use your email and password to apply for additional projects.

Can I update my account information if something changes?
If your account information changes (for example your phone number, street address, name, or email address) be sure to log in with the email address you used to create the account. Once logged in, you will be given the opportunity to update your account information. (Alternatively, you can click on the Update Contact link from any page after you are logged in.)

I would like to upload my current resume and/or cover letter. How do I do this?
Once you have logged in, and after you have answered the screening questions and completed an application for a project, you can click on the Attach Resume link at the top of any page. From this page, follow the directions to browse and upload your file(s).

What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, please go to the Login page, enter your email address, and then click Send Password to my Email. Once you receive your password in your inbox (usually within a few minutes), you can log in as normal. (Note: The email message containing your password will be sent from sroiwerrecruit@umich.edu.)

I am having difficulties accessing the videos. What do I do? Most computers have the capability to view all information on the recruitment website. Depending on the computer system, modem, or Internet access configurations you are using, however, the videos may not be able to be viewed. The recruitment website can be accessed from any computer with Internet access. If you are having difficulty, we suggest you locate another computer to access the site and videos if needed.
